Heytea is a popular tea shop from China. The Glendale Galleria branch has no seating. You can order at the self-serve kiosk or the Heytea app. There was also an employee by the register who could answer questions. Once you order and pay, you’ll get a number. They’ll call your number when the order is ready. Several of the drinks were sold out.
It’s a drinks only place (no food is served). Choose from fruit tea, pure tea, milk tea, tea latte, etc. Options include cheese cloud, matcha cloud, grapefruit, sago, boba, coconut milk jelly, and popping boba (no grass jelly). They use real milk, real cane sugar, and real tea, with no artificial flavors.
Jasmine milk tea with sago ($6.49 + $0.49 for sago) with real milk, 0% sweetness: strong tea flavor, not very milky or creamy. They were generous with the sago. I liked it but I find the add-ins to be limited.
The shop had a strong tea odor. Prices are higher but the quality seems better. The cups are nice and sturdy.
