harry what kind of a bullshit sneak attack approach is that

im not ready for that conversation but LETS. still havent watched the live performance..... but this song :( it really captures harry’s essence i think, a part of him we don’t usually see. the lines “what if i'm someone i don't want around?” and “what if i’m someone you won’t talk about?” stick out so much to me. makes me think of those times we got testimonials from ppl saying that he’s usually one to keep to himself unless someone engages him in conversation first. it’s probably not what he was trying to convey but his introvert tendencies jump out at me from these lines. his insecurities and that one thing he said along the lines of “what did you feel in that hotel room when you were alone bc you chose to be alone?” like....... his painful vocals aside there’s so fucking much unpack with the lyrics alone. he said he isn’t one to drink much, just here and there with his friends he’s a social drinker so the line “there’s no one to blame but the drink in my wandering hands” holds a lot of meaning there’s TOO MUCH to talk about and im sure im making 0 sense so ill shut up
