I finished another (VERY way too early) baby quilt for a friend, @verifiedlinguist! In this case I did the hexaround pattern using a couple half-jelly rolls I got during the Joann closing, and it was my first time piecing 60-degree triangles!
Also I did very much learn something in that I was like βwhy do the patterns all say to square the sides off! Then you lose the whole visual appeal of that βjaggedβ edge!β and then I was trying to miter all those million billion hexi-corners and I was like oh. Thatβs why.
But I DID IT ANYWAY. So HAH! Take that, learning!
