I spent my #valentines day driving though a ground blizzard with a trailer containing 3 horses: Copper was in the pickup. . This is about the 5th or 6th (but who is counting), Valentineās Day that I havenāt been with my better half. . Heās travels to help change the face of agriculture, to provide for his family and to fund my barrel racing addiction, but he wonāt hesitate to give me grief for my addiction!!! ššš¤£š¤£ . Our life is good. So good. I couldnāt have dreamed the Good Lord would grant me someone this amazing to spend my life with. . Truthfully, and I know this sounds cliche, but everyday is Valentineās Day with him. He is patient. He is kind. Heās a phenomenal father. Heās just all around the best catch I could have ever dreamt for myself. . We were actually in the same state today: Minnesota. He was north of me, however. . Ironic. . But I had a great day. Avie continues to improve, Cosmoās feet are showing improvement and Max, our old faithful kid horse made great strides towards soundness this winter! . I had a damn great day, compliments of my valentine. . Ps: Iām either crazy or determined - Monday I drove on snowy roads to the vet, and drove home on icy roads. Today I drove East with a 30-35mph cross wind that created ground blizzards. All to get my horses ready to rodeo. And I wouldnāt get the chance to have to guess if Iām crazy or determined if it werenāt for this damn fine man of mine.
