POV: The local spooky-cryptid librarian/assassin wishes to stop in for a visit. Unlock the door? Y/N
Elliot has chosen: Y! :D Based not at all loosely on a scene from the rough draft of the book, in which Herratt wonders why his husband and adopted daughter are both a bit light on self-preservation skills.
Merry Christmas from Canadian Space Force Base Alpha I had a ton of stupid ideas over the last two weeks for Christmas-themed Alpha Base sketches and for a bunch of these I leaned -hard- onto my decision to make this a Canadian military base out in the middle of a galaxy far, far away. It's too much fun and I'm not letting go of it. Elliot and her two dads, Jacob and Herratt, admiring Jacob's efforts to decorate the radio tower into the biggest tree-like thing they could muster might be my favourite. How he found an extension cord long enough, we'll never know. Next we have Heinrich in the absolutely stupidest Christmas toque imaginable. Promise you: Elliot's the one that found it and she didn't have to work too hard to make him wear it (rest assured that no one else would have succeeded). Finally, for those of you in the audience who aren't Canadian, let me introduce you to context for sketch number three: Bob and Doug McKenzie's Twelve Days of Christmas, a Canadian classic from the early 80's that worked far, far too well for Errick and Paul: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJ4de_5sSIE And on that note: I'm sorry. Suffer with me. These are my people. Merry Christmas! Happy holidays! I hope it's a good one!
