be me, answer asks MANY MOONS later. heh.
âBilly! Did you see! Thereâs a haunted house! Lets go!â Sindren was nearly bouncing off the walls with how excited she was. He shuddered, thinking about his last haunted house experience. He must have blacked out, cause one minute he was getting yelled at by a bunch of birds, and the next, Bianca was slapping his cheeks trying to wake him up. He was terrified of spooky things, but she was too excited for him to say no. He nodded and let her lead him to the haunted house.Â
âIâm going to need you to protect me in thereâ Billy blushed, looking at his shoes. âHehehe, last time I went to one of these I didnât do so goodâ. Sindren smiled at him and grabbed his hand.
âOf course Iâll protect you! Thatâs what heroes do!â She said brightly, taking charge and leading them to the entrance. âJust hold onto my hand, youâll be okay!â He nodded and gripped her hand tighter, following her into the darkness.Â
This haunted house seemed to be more aimed towards children, to Sindrens chagrin, she was really hoping for something scary. Billy on the other hand was clinging to her, walking so close behind her that he kept bumping into her. They wound their way through the hallways, looking for the way out, Sindren kept her head high looking for any threats before they appeared so she could shield Billy from anything that may jump out at them.Â
As they turned the last corner with the exit in sight, a hand crept from the shadows and firmly grabbed Billyâs shoulder. He shrieked, eyes rolling into the back of his head and he passed out. Sindren grabbed him and pulled him towards the exit where sheâd be able to breathe some life back into him.Â
Once they were outside, Sindren laid Billy down away from the exit and gently slapped his cheek until he woke up. His eyes fluttered open and he smiled at her looking down on him.
âOh hey! You saved me! Youâre amazing!âÂ
Sindren laughed and shook her head âI didnât realize you were THAT jumpy, that was really fun thoughâ He chuckled and closed his eyes.
âGlad you were with me, I would have died in there if not for you! Youâre the best!!â She knew he absolutely wouldnât have died, but appreciated the compliment all the same. Even with the childish haunted house, she had a good time.Â
