I’m up to chapter 7 of his majesty’s dragon now, loving it!

for sure! Been thinking about these for some time now. They're mostly what I think Tharkay would wear depending on temperature, somewhat influenced by his mother's people. Honestly can’t wait for you to get further into the story, i’m excited you’ve started reading again!

Been listening to the yawning grace and who laughs last and ends of the earth, and these are so good! Really very enjoying them.

Which are your favs? Any others you think I definitely ought not miss out on? =)

i have mentioned them in many ask/tag games here lately as they’ve become my go-to artist to listen to while playing red dead, so it’s very likely!

the yawning grave is sooo good, i love it so much. i was really into ends of the earth last year, but came back around to it recently because it’s melody and hopeful, wanderlust lyrics really pair well with the game world haha.

more songs to listen to? honestly i do love pretty much most of strange trails and lonesome dreams, vide noir is still growing on me. so most of my suggestions will be from those three ❤︎

the night we met - note on this one: it’s one of, if not, their biggest song. i was first introduced to it at the end of a 9-1-1: lone star episode and it broke my heart. i also began to associate it’s “i had all and then most of you, some and now none of you” line with the loss of my dog, rooney. the song is an absolute dagger to the heart.

I can't quite choose just one favorite pokemon, but my top 3 favorites are Scolipede, Quilava, and Wooper! I also quite like Heatran and Vikavolt and Giratina....and I've got a soft spot for a lot of Gen 4 Pokemon thanks to that being when I first got to play the game for myself! (Before that, I used to play my older brothers' Pokemon games from time to time, but Sinnoh was when I got to have a game of my own :"))

my ideal lineup? also a very difficult decision! im not always the best at planning teams. buuuut I've discovered that there's definitely enough shinies that are bright green (like, close to the green of my blog background) to make a whole team on their own, and i think that would absolutely RULE. >:3

Have you tried Ravelry.com? 

That would be my first suggestion. Here’s some of the results when you do a search for ‘sheep sweater’ but there’s 27 pages of results so there’s lots to look through. 

If you’ve never used Ravelry before, here’s a quick guide: 

1. go to ‘patterns’ at the top (next to the logo) 

2. select pattern browser & advanced search 

3. put in your search words - in this case I wrote ‘sheep sweater’ and then select any relevant info on the left pannel. AKA: free/paid, knitting/crochet, language, yarn type, etc etc etc,. 

This bunny? It’s probably a hare, yeah! My initial guess was a snowshoe hare, bur I’m probably wrong because I forgot they don’t like the city; snowshoe hares prefer rural environments, so in urban Edmonton, AB it’s probably a white-tailed jackrabbit. (Which is, for the sake of clarity, a hare.)They are ALL OVER; Edmonton has a LOT of parkland and lawns, and the jackrabbits basically consider it free real estate. The closest thing we have to a wild rabbit in Alberta are cottontailed rabbits, which are actually only distantly related to European rabbits, and which show up in the badlands about 500km south of where I am. I’ve seen European rabbits running wild on Vancouver Island (specifically the University of Victoria campus), but they don’t tend to survive in the wild up here.

5. Favorite town/city (Valentine, Saint Denis, Van Horn, etc.)? i have a love hate relationship with every single town/city in the game - love the detail, hate the people that are always in the way lol. it's probably a tie between strawberry (pics 1 and 2) for the general visuals and valentine (pic 3) for the practicality of having most necessary shops available.

i'll give blackwater the honorary mention spot because it reminds me of certain areas of my city, and i can definitely see them being very active in the twenty first century - they'd definitely have a craft brewery and annual food truck festival.

side story: my brother is in epilogue and was passing through armadillo. without spoiling i'll just say, this town has been through.. a lot. it's your Classic Western Ghost Town. anyways, he was passing through and the vibes are Not Great to him, and he says to me, "i hate armadillo. why are there always fires? i saw a man on all fours drinking out of a horse trough." and just the way he said it was so funny, completely disturbed by what he witnessed as if he was there lmao

10. Do you prefer hunting or fishing? hunting for the fact that there can be so much travel involved, and i love riding the trails through the wilderness :)

5. if you could pick an alternative life for arthur than being with the van der linde gang, what would you imagine him doing .ᐣ how would he pass his days not as a wanted outlaw .ᐣ what kind of job would he have .ᐣ where would he settle down .ᐣ would he have any hobbies .ᐣ in my heart, my arthur is a horse trainer and wrangler. if anyone can break a stubborn stallion, it's him. so i always picture him on a ranch out in the desert with several horses he's training for folks and has caught to sell, or even keep for himself. his hobbies would be continuing to explore his artistic side, you can find him on his porch painting his horses and the surrounding landscape. he'd also have john coming down to his ranch to help out, and he'd do vice versa by going up to his – making sure to pick at him about how he can't herd so, "why would you think ranchin' was a good idea?" and of course, take jack fishing.

12. do you have a favorite dish to feed arthur .ᐣ do you feed and bathe him regularly .ᐣ does he maintain his weight .ᐣ do you visit the saloons and order food or do you eat whatever is available in your satchel .ᐣ do you stop at the campfires to cook, do you use herbs .ᐣ i can't remember all the dishes in the game, but i tend to get him the more expensive meals at the saloons. i do get him the lobster bisque (iirc?) anytime i'm at the saint denis saloon – it just feels and sounds fancy. but they also have a steak i believe, so idk! lol he gets the pricey ones for sure.

i do feed and bathe him regularly. i try to make sure he gets at least two meals a day (bro burns calories like no one's business), so either pork breakfast or beef lunch and big game dinner. if i'm paying attention he can get three meals. and i try to maintain his weight, i can usually get him to hover around perfect to just under, but if i do several missions in a row that tends to knock him down closer to underweight. i do cook at campfires either right before bed or first thing in the morning, but really only use herbs for big game meats due to the fortification benefit. i do use herbs a lot for tonics and such tho.

10. do you hunt and fish .ᐣ what weapons do you favor when it comes to either and which animals do you enjoy tracking down the most .ᐣ do you craft with the parts or sell them to butchers, trader them with the trapper .ᐣ i do! i enjoy hunting over fishing, i really just do fishing when required in missions or for challenges and such. for hunting i prefer the bolt action for large animals, lancaster for medium, and varmint for small – bow if i'm aiming for clean kills/perfect pelts with tiny animals (squirrels, frogs, birds) and a sniper rifle for animals like grizzlies and bison.

there are some animals i track not because i enjoy it, but because they're fast af i can't keep them in my sight (looking at you, 3 star pronghorns that i get an itch to catch). i do enjoy tracking the legendary animals, mainly due to the added dialogue. unfortunately i have a concerning amount of hours in this game and an obsessive need to fill out the compendium, so i have memorized spawn points therefore really don't track as often i could.

i do craft with some parts and sell bulks of feathers and the occasional 3 star pelt to the trapper (and legendary pelts), but i mainly just donate them to camp.
