The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, SDGI Global University, Ghaziabad, successfully organized an engaging webinar on “Standardization of Herbal and AYUSH Medicinal Products using Modern Analytical Techniques” on 11 April 2026. The session provided a valuable platform for students and faculty to explore scientific validation, quality control, and standardization of traditional medicines.
The expert speaker, Dr. Antariksh Katara, Assistant General Manager, Welzo Research & Development Pvt. Ltd., Baddi, Himachal Pradesh delivered an insightful talk on modern analytical techniques like HPLC, GC, IR, and MS. His industry-oriented approach helped participants understand real-world challenges in ensuring the safety, purity, and consistency of herbal products.
The session began with a motivating address by Prof. (Dr.) Shalini Sharma, Director, SPS, and was conceptualized by Dr. Babita Aggarwal. The webinar concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Palak Hindwal.
