hm.... don’t bother with dating just for the sake of it, or because you think that yeah that person is kinda alright and it would be cool to be able to say you have a partner. it isn’t worth it !! there’s no point! u’ll just resent the relationship and the other persona dn just..... there’s no reason for it. take ur time growing up. remember that to be selfless and kind is hard, but so so worth it. it’s a skill to work on - i’m still not there two years later, but little efforts go a long way. 

The last time he had tried to adopt a dog... Adam pondered that over as he carefully took the squirming pup and cradled it in his arms. The smile didn’t quit as he held onto to dog and tried to keep it from wriggling out of his arms.  “Uh, well, I would...but...last time that didn’t work out for me.” Last time the dog happened to be a shifter.
