Honestly I think itâs kind of funny that Hels Kitchen seems like itâs more of a diner but all of us immediately decided no, itâs a bar, theyâre getting wasted
Personal Hermitcraft headcanons part fuck if I know:
Tango is a reformed Helsmit, and I mean come on, just look at the guy
Anybody that knows of Helsâ existence probably wouldnât be surprised looking at him, but lucky for him, not many do
How did he get here? What happened to the original Tango? He prefers not to talk about that
But he has divulged his origins to a select few hermits
Wels has a hunch
Tango hasnât confirmed it to him, but he gets an eerily familiar vibe from Tango that he canât quite place. He has yet to speak up about it.
Joe knows
Because nothing escapes the watchful eye of Joseph Hills.
Impulse and Zedaph know
Tango didnât immediately tell them, but after feeling a bit guilty over hiding it for so long, he eventually came clean (though only partially, he didnât explain his rather ruthless measures to make sure he didnât get sent back, fearing how that might change their view him). If anything, Zedaph was ecstatic at the prospect of studying science from a totally different dimension.
Rendog knows
Ren knows another Helsmit when he sees one (thank you hermitcraftheadcanons anon, Ren being Renbobâs Helsmit counterpart is spectacular and Iâm adopting it). Though they didnât personally know one another, they very much recognize each other. Theyâve never formally spoken about it, but they have a. . . complicated relationship. On one hand, they are uncomfortably aware of each otherâs past sins and the things they did in the name of survival. On the other, thereâs a sort of unspoken respect and bond over having shared that trauma and having made an effort to better themselves. Neither really know how to approach each other about it, though.
And Xisuma knows
X was actually the Hermit that found Tango. At the time, X wasnât really aware of Hels, so he assumed Tango was just a lost player. However, having just spent the past decades hauled up in a disheveled lab trying to stay alive and find a way out of his dimension, Tango reacted to being caught and cornered about as well as the feral cat he was. Xisuma swiftly overpowered him, of course, and he changed his tune, begging to not be sent back. Heâd do whatever X asked so long as he didnât send him back there. Recognizing someone clearly under distress and quite possibly delusional, X simply hauled Tango back to his base to figure out what to do. After a very long discussion about alternate dimensions, evil counterparts, foraging to survive, and experiments gone horribly right, Xisuma resolved that Tango was no immediate threat and could be a very useful asset to the server he had recently been given control of. And thatâs the story of how Xisuma become frightfully aware of Hels and how Tango eventually became his right redstone hand, being given access to the serverâs more technical workings and the first Hermit X calls when it needs some tinkering.
i kind of like the idea of grian's helsmit being the polite one (in a twisted way, probably) because grian in evo was. wow that man would straight up blow people up and not have a single ounce of remorse because it was a prank which i love him for but also. hels behavior.
Honestly, I think Grianâs Hels counterpart would be less polite and more calculating
Sure, Grianâs a ruthless prankster, but itâs all in good fun, heâs not particularly malicious
Hels Grian however? A cold, cruel mastermind. Hels Grian was normal Grian with a purpose. Hels Grian was a manipulative, conniving bastard that didnât care about anyone but himself.
I adore the idea that when EX got banned, he spent those years sulking around Hels Kitchen and eventually met Helsknight

Random concepts Iâve come up with:
-X Life was a Hels server! The only ones who werenât Hels players were Jimmy (a Listenter), Gem (a slightly fucked up dryad and cervitaur), and Quig and Shubble! (Both Herobrine species) They donât actually know theyâre Hels players however
-Tango and Impulse are constantly debating with each other over whoâs the others Hels counterpart. In actuality, theyâre both Zedâs Hels counterpart, they just donât remember cause of an accident when trying to cover their code, only Zed remembers and heâs sworn to secrecy, even if those who made him swear it have forgotten
-Grian is Pearlâs Hels counterpart. Theyâve known since EVO and no one else knows because when he joined Hermitcraft, the code only picked up on his new Watcher blood
I adore all of these
Iâve never watched X-Life but I really feel like I should hfcstd
I am Looking đ, I love headcanons with Zed being a fucked up scientist doing fucked up shit and the idea of him having to socialize two Helsmits is hilarious (no wonder Tango and Impulse are Like That)
Also Iâm now imagining Grian referring to Pearl as his âbetter halfâ with complete seriousness
Okay hold on, thoughts have funneled down the brain tube based on my last reblog
It went Hels is like 2b2t -> Hels is 2b2t
2b2t isnât a normal server, itâs its own pocket dimension where the universe funneled all the playersâ bad emotions and negativity. Itâs been called a hellhole or other variations so often that the nickname âHelsâ just sort of stuck.
Itâs not unlike the nether with a block ratio that corresponds to any and all servers that have been made. Itâs not uncommon for hels players from various âoverworldâ servers to interact but they generally keep within their own boundaries. They can break universal laws because their universe doesnât care enough to enforce them. The reason getting in without paying someone under the table is so difficult is because you arenât supposed to get in. This place wasnât made for you, it doesnât want you, and everyone knows it. Itâs become something of a tourist destination for adrenaline junkies, but it is very important that you never set your spawn in there. Respawning at your overworld bed is the only reliable way to get out and the only thing keeping you tethered. It is highly advised that you do not interact with the locals. Some of them are resentful that you look at this hell world theyâre trapped in and treat it like a game. Some simply want to cause you as much trouble as possible on principle. Some will do anything to get out, and you donât want to know what that may entail.
OKAY HOLD ON.....
There was a Beesuma in the Hels bar, so is that Helsuma? Do we have canon confirmation that EX isnât Xâs helsmit?
Zedeath was also there but so were the withermen, the minions, and Herobrine so it seems to be just a generally evil hangout (though Iâm living for the potential implication that Herobrine is like, Steveâs hels)
I have so many thoughts crawling all over me like weevils
