semester 2 part 2
Has been a weird mid-sem break, busy but haven’t actually got as much done as I would want Week 7 tasks
-Borrow arduino from Mike. Prototype programming and movement for finger with mini motor -more research into potential bigger motor options (currently it looks like the one I need has to be shipped from Aus and is $300 dollars. Surely there is a better way
-finish painting flower and test install with bear (2D02?)
-1:1 scale drawing of the giant hand (possible alternative to building real hand if I cannot figure out how to do it) -Re-edit found video of hand (possible alternative) -Read more about Ragnar Kjartansson -Office hours with someone??? (feeling v overwhelmed, would be good to talk stuff through & prioritise) All the stuff about motors is starting to make more sense. Spoke to a guy and jaycar that was really helpful but the arduino compatible motors they stock are all v small. Possibly can use another kind but would need an intermediate device between arduino and motor and could be tricky to pull off.
