You've finally survived nearly an entire week away. You've barely had time to settle back in before I decide that, unfortunately for you, six whole days without proper "kiddo maintenance" is simply unacceptable.

Clearly someone has been deprived of playful bullying for far too long. So, naturally, I decide to remedy that.

Nothing dramatic. Just enough to remind you that you're home. ♡

I'd probably start by pulling you into a tight hug before you even realize what I'm doing, because I know full well you'd complain about whichever nickname I use to address you - be it gigglebug, ticklish angel, or just tickles - long before you'd actually try to escape.

And while you're busy insisting you're not... "the thing" (unless you've miraculously learned to say "ticklish" during your time at camp?) my hands would start slowly sneaking their way to the most sensitive spot on your back. Not doing anything just yet, just resting there. For now.

The best part would be how confident you'd still sound. Like you've already, in your head, decided you'd win. Like you genuinely believe you could outlast me. I'd let you have that confidence for a little while. Afterall, confidence is much more amusing when it seems completely genuine.

Only then would I casually mention that we've spent the last week with absolutely no opportunities to mess with you. Do you realize how much lost time that is? I think we'll have to make up for it somehow. It would only be fair.

Maybe I'd let you bargain for a moment. Maybe I'd even pretend to consider your case. But no.

Because that's when my hands would press themselves into where they've been resting on your back. Kneading around in playful-yet-precise little patterns, not unlike a ticklish massage. And maybe I'd pretend that's all it was. That I'm only trying to help you relax and that you have no reason to be laughing right now.

But the more playful my so-called "massage" turns, the more you'd realize that couldn't be further from the truth. And I'd completely drop the act once I'd make a little "adjustment" to our hug. Spinning you around so your back is to my chest and picking you up just enough so my hands are resting right atop your tummy.

I'd start slowly this time, giving you a moment to catch your breath before it shifts back into hiccuping giggles, just circling around your tummy with a finger or two.

But once I've decided I've shown you enough mercy, they press right back in. Forming little makeshift claws that shake around your belly in affectionate aggression. And you'd immediately crumble, I imagine. Shrieking out, scrambling to try (but not really try?) to escape my clutches. But since my arms are still around you, practically binding you to my hug, you wouldn't get very far. I'd say you'd only push yourself further into my tickling hands, much to my amusement. You've really missed being tickled that much, kiddo? How precious~

It'd slow back down eventually, back down to the idle tracing from before. Though this time they come off as anything but soothing - leaving a trail of goosebumps in their wake, as well as the bittersweet feeling of anticipation. Because now you can't tell what's going to happen. Is it over? Or was that only the beginning? But the most important question should be, are you willing to find out, kiddo?

Will you be able to stand up against me?
