Listening to WTF (Wu-Tang Forever, duh:)
Captains Log 1: I cum like a thousand doves. I really love the orchestra. This speaks to me. On Cash Still Rules
Captains Log 2: It's just really long. Not bad, but...there's like so much album left. I do appreciate the RKO love though
Captains Log 3: The rhymes in Impossible are INSANE
Captains Log 4: Almost done (On Heaterz) If nothing crazy happens, I think this is a Like. I am very fond of the sound effect choices and how wordy/verbose it is. I don't have a very refined ear for rap yet, though, so sometimes there are so many words I get kind of lost and I can't rely on melodic context clues to fill in the gaps. Would make good music for a walk but not for a run, yknow what I mean? I didn't like Dog Sh*t very much but I did really like Reunited, Impossible, Intro, and Hellz Wind Staff. The screaming in The City was a little intense but I do think the violence worked generally earlier in the album.
Captains Log 5: The mix of the shower sound in Heaterz is awesome. I'm not sure I get the underlying message/deeper meaning in Black Shampoo yet, but if it doesn't go any deeper than just taking a nice shower, lowkey I get it.
