Nobu. Oracle of Milani, the goddess of revolution, and hero of the little people. A gnome that started out as a barmaid who wanted to drink away her problems and party into the end of days instead becoming the chosen one of a Rebellious Deity and striking into hell itself to free her country.

She’s been my character for over two years, having originated in a dead-end campaign and then getting reused in the Pathfinder Hells Rebels adventure path, and tonight I retire her sheet.

Of course, while her sheet was retired when the campaign ended she continued to keep fighting. Traveling the world to cities where the weak have no voice, she did what she could to make them strong. To heal their wounds, build their strength and- after time- helped them take their lives back into their own hands. Over the years she’d assemble a small following to her Goddess Milani, taking with her from the many revolutions and just rebelions over her unnaturally long lifespan a small army that helped the cause. In time, her appearance and the showering of rose pedals that accompanied it heralded change for the better and an soon to come end of corruption. Among the ensemble is the child of two of her original party members, Neri and Mehrafarina, a rambunctious fighter who’s bloodline was so infused with that of Azata and Celestial they came out an Aasimar despite two human parents. 

This would not be the last member of their family Nobu would come to over the years, and as the decades ticked onto centuries and generations had been buried, she would continue to watch over their family between her crusades.

What ends she’ll meet, I don’t entirely know, but when the time finally comes for her she intends to spend it either among the forest of Family trees she had taken to tending or bloody but victorious on the crimson cracks of hard fought cobblestone.
