Tiger - What is your bravest moment?

So let me start with what will seem to be completely unrelated: there was this prick in school. A real fucking asshole, and everybody loved him for some reason. I saw through his shit, and I fucking hated him.

So one day, myself and a few friends go off campus during the lunch break to the local convenience store for slurpees and my friend, walks backwards for a bit to talk to us (he was a bit further ahead). After finishing what he needed to say, he turns around, and takes his next step- right into a lamppost.

We get him into the field, and the few of us that went are laughing at him, because it was spectacularly funny. I’m not gonna deny that. He won’t deny that, either. So the prick and a few other people come to the field, and since it’s a small school and most of us are buddy-buddy, we’re mostly all having a good time. 

So, the prick hears about my friend’s hilarious mishap, and then starts to take advantage of the situation (friend is laying in the field with a killer headache, and isn’t doing much of anything. He’s fine, don’t worry too much about him) and throws some food at my friend. I tell the prick to knock it off, but he just shrugs me off, and everyone else laughs it off.

So, our prick then decides to take out his lighter and singed my friend’s jeans, in which a few people call him out on it and say it’s not cool, to which he backs off. I’m fucking seething at this point. I know I can’t take this asshole in a fight, (hell, still can’t really take anybody in a fight) so I’m looking for an option here to try to drive home the point that he cannot, under any circumstances fuck with my friends at all.

The bell rings, and lunch break is over, and everyone starts heading back in. The prick does something to my friend (I think he pushed him?), but I can’t remember the specifics about the last thing.

So, this final thing pushes me over the fucking edge. The prick finishes the thing, turns around to head in, and I charge at the asshole, jump on his back and put him in a chokehold and shout at him “Don’t you EVER fuck with my friends again!”

While I’ve got this guy mostly pinned, a few of his friends try to pull me off, and this other guy (who also was a prick, but not for anything that transpired on that day) fucking knees me in the head. That hurt, but I wanted to stress the point that I was not to be fucked with, and that nobody gets to fuck with my friends, so I didn’t let go quite yet. When I did let go, the prick stumbled away and we all returned to class.

He didn’t bother me or my friends anymore. So I guess it worked.

Taboo - Do you have any tattoos?

Nope, but I fucking love seeing tattoos on others. I don’t think I could stomach it at all.

Hiccup - What makes you nervous?

A surprisingly large amount of situations which I haven’t done before and in which I perceive there to be a failure state with massive consequences (happens a fair number of times); placing telephone calls (I’m oddly okay with receiving them, though); riding in vehicles; other drivers (if I’m driving with you, know that I’ve put a lot of trust in you to drive me to anywhere without any incidents); loud, sudden noises.

probably the lives of christopher chant cause im a children’s literature nerd

but  also some of murakami has really  touched me lately
