he blinked for a moment or so. seeing how he was staring into space, or so she thought. Holding a few mochi in her hand, she skipped over to him and smiled brightly. Standing at his side she opened her mouth, "Hey Giyu!" she proudly said lightly.

"I have some mochi to share, would you like some? I have a few different flavors. "

' Perhaps you did . But , I do not recall stating I would obey ... '

Black Swan remains distant , but does not take a step back — nor does she plan to retreat , unless he protests further . Perhaps she's too persistent , but there is too much curiosity 'round what he hopes to hide .

By  now,  anything  to  do  with  the  Upside  Down  was  easily  recognizable  to  Mike.  Something  weird  going  on?  People  going  missing?  Strange  and  unusual  deaths?  All  of  it  most  likely  had  to  do  with  the  Upside  Down,  which  was  a  secret  that  only  a  very  small  handful  of  people  knew  about.  Mike,  on  a  few  occasions,  had  seen  the  gateways  between  realms  that  demogorgons  were  capable  of  creating,  thus  making  it  easy  for  him  to  spot  the  one  in  the  side  of  the  tree  -  just  like  Nancy  had  once  described  to  him.  It  was  slowly  in  the  process  of  closing,  healing  over  and  soon  to  appear  as  if  there  hadn't ever been a  massive  hole  with  fleshy  looking  vines.

Startled  by  the  nearby  voice,  Mike  quickly  stood  up  and  moved  to  the  other  side  of  the  tree,  which  the  older  male  was  approaching  after  asking  what  he'd  been  looking  at.  Maybe  it  wouldn't  have  been  quite  so  questionable  if  he  hadn't  been  wearing  such  a  concerned  expression  on  his  face.  Shit.  Words  came  out  stuttered  as  he  stumbled  his  way  through  an  on-the-spot  excuse,  which  really  didn't  end  up  making  much  sense  and,  if  anything,  would  likely  only  leave  Kerr  with  more  questions.
