La bambola fù commercializzata in Giappone nel Marzo del 1981, in concomitanza con l'arrivo della serie animata sulla tv nipponica, e ne furono prodotte varie versioni, dove a cambiare era soltanto l'abito. Una cosa che la contraddistinse in particolar modo è la ricca mole di accessori con cui venne venduta, caso assai raro per delle bambole tratte da un anime, le quali venivano accessoriate di poco o niente, come ad esempio: un pettinino con specchietto, una card con adesivo e piedistallo, o nel migliore dei casi, un cambio d'abito.
