March 25th, 1999 Akane-chan Overdrive begins serialization in Margaret. The series is unique because it is an ecchi series in a mainstream shoujo magazine. Written and illustrated by Mizuki Kawashita

The series is one of the best selling shoujo series of all time, and was adapted into an anime as well as several live action series. It also received a sequel/spin off in Shonen Jump+ in 2015.
