01. when the virtual reality shut down, what was your muse’s reaction ?  how did they handle the dark period?

feyre had only just held a rather...difficult conversation with her eldest sister when the lights went out, and her immediate reaction was not to be afraid. the darkness no longer frightened feyre, for she was so used to the many different types of darkness that the world had to offer. this darkness was confusing -- it felt like nothing she’d ever bore witness to in her life. and it hadn’t just been within the estate that she and her mate had built, but all around. the beautiful city of velaris had winked out, the sun in the sky had vanished, and that is what finally sent feyre into alarm.

she didn’t handle the dark period poorly, but she also didn’t handle it very well. she was a bit jumpy, all around very confused, and incredibly frustrated at the fact that she couldn’t understand why the world around her had seemingly shut down. luckily she was able to manipulate flame and light, bringing back the illumination that had been stolen from her city, so her people didn’t reside too long in darkness.

02. what was their reaction to finding out they were fiction ? how did they feel about the offer to become human ?

she was pissed off. pissed, sad, hurt, and very confused as to why she was being told this absurd lie. because that’s what it had to be. a lie. there was no way that the life she had lived, both lives she had lived, were nothing but entertainment for someone else. and then it made sense, and that reality shattered her. the hardest part for her was the realization that perhaps any of the relationships she had with anyone weren’t genuine. after working so hard for those friendships and that forever love that she’d finally gotten, to find out that maybe it wasn’t real was heartbreaking.

the offer to become human was something she initially turned down. she’d been human once, definitely didn’t miss it. so when she turned it down, the programmers took it upon themselves to reset her without permission.

03. before the island, where did they live ? what was their reset life like ? who are the significant people in their lives ?

feyre archeron grew up in a very large estate in the middle-of-nowhere-england, with her wealthy parents and spoiled sisters ( all of whom were actors ). she lived a pretty boring life, home-schooled by her mother up until the age of eight. when she was eight, her mother died of an intense spout of the flu. after that happened, feyre was sent off to a boarding school in italy, effectively isolating her from her family most of the year, thought she hardly went home over the summer either. usually she would travel with the new friends she’d made, some of which were actors and some of which were fans. after she’d finished her schooling, she went off to college to study art, where she honed the skill that she’d always possessed. and then after college, she found herself drawn to elysium island. she’d seen an article written about the lovely living expense and the hometown feel of it and jumped at the opportunity to open up an art studio there where she could teach others to paint. she lives in a really nice, spacious apartment right above her studio, and still has no idea that the gag behind the beauty of the island is that she’s now a caged animal -- and if feyre archeron hates anything, it’s being caged.

04. what did the fans vote on ?

the fans got to vote on whether or not feyre would even be able to open up her art studio. it was a long process of voting on things prohibiting the opening, like actors vandalizing in the middle of the night and stealing supplies from the front or ‘paperwork not going through’. it was like this for months until the fans finally voted that she could open the shop.

they also got to vote on whether or not her mom would die in this reset life as well. they voted yes.

05. does your character have any secrets ( big or small ) that they think are private when in reality they were broadcasted live to the whole world ?

i mean...not really. maybe her tiddies were caught on camera once on accident but other than that i really cant think of anything that she’d consider secretive.

06. what are the major similarities between the character’s canon life & their reset life ? what about the differences ?

so many differences, though most are minor. a lot of that has to do with the fact that the book takes place in a time period very different from the world she now lives in. personality wise, they’re exactly the same. story wise, very different. feyre’s story in her old life was full of hardship, whereas feyre’s reset life was much more luxurious and free.

07. how much of their old life will they remember when their memories return ?
