What most residents get up to in the privacy of their own rooms was none of Alastor's business on most days. The safety of the hotel was one of his primary responsibilities, of course, but he was not about to intrude upon each individual room to determine whether or not a serial murderer had made painted the place into some sort of raucous scene out of a horror film. That seemed much more a task for Charlie's ex-exorcist, as Alastor's focus primarily remained on threats outside the hotel.
But it was difficult to ignore the sound of someone shouting as he performed his rounds, stepping in a light trot from hall to hall to ensure that nothing needed immediate addressing (which he would eventually delegate to someone else in favor of maintaining his relatively free workload).
Curious, but not altogether concerned, Alastor followed the sound with ears lifted to listen, the calamity growing a bit louder as he neared the room in question.
Now, normally, he might have simply continued on his way. But a moment of forethought considered that he might be on the hook for simply walking by such a thing and doing nothing about it, no doubt at risk of being lectured or harassed by Vaggi for his inaction. So with a roll of his eyes, he decided to get involved, utilizing a skeleton key he kept on his person to open the door -
Only to stand in the doorway and observe the scene unfolding before him. One sinner attacking another - but the radio demon's brows raised as the assault practically ricocheted back to him, and before Alastor could even get a word in edgewise, the head had been decapitated, the heart torn free, and a rather grand mess smattered over the floor in what would likely take ages to clean.
The command was not missed, and he might have disregarded it entirely, but with the sound of others on the same floor, Alastor thought better of simply protesting right there and then, taking another step inside the room before shutting the door and leveling his stare at the man still crouched over what remained of the other sinner.
"...Not only is this against the rules, but the bill for this cleaning is about to be astronomical," Alastor said dryly, though there was clear disapproval in his voice. If he were not allowed to commit wanton murder on the premises, except by necessity, then no one else was allowed either.
"Care to explain, precisely, what I've stumbled upon here, hm?"
