This is probably going to sound weird but...
Spider-Man shouldn’t be an Avenger
Bare with me here: Spider-Man really shouldn’t be as focused on the Avengers as he is. Every bit of media based he’s been in recently, whether it be a cartoon, movie, or even the comics themselves, tends to focus on his relationship with the Avengers.
This is odd for two reasons: 1) Peter was never actually interested in joining them for a long time in the comics, and 2) it takes away from his roots as a street level hero. He’s the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, not an Avenger.
So, at some point, I want to see a version of Peter play around with more street level characters, like Squirrel Girl, Hellcat, the Defenders, Moon Knight, even the Punisher! Because that’s where he works best, on the streets helping people.
This user misses Hellcat
Patricia (Trish?), a.k.a. Patsy Walker, a.k.a. Hellcat, has done it all; she's had her own comic line (from which Mom made a hefty profit); she's trained physically & psychically w/ Moondragon on Titan; found romance w/ two infernal exes; and used her powers (ie telepathy, telekinesis, magic perception & resistance, costume summoning, etc) to team w/ heroes like She-Hulk, the Avengers & Defenders!
