Hulk, Strange, & Valkyrie

Carol has a unique relationship to all of these people eventually:

Hulk: Involved in his death during an abysmal plotline and took a lot of heat for it in-universe

Dr. Strange: Had regrettable sex with in recent-ISH comics (2021)

Valkyrie: had pretty good sex with in the movies, if you ask some people. (more of a CarolMaria girl myself, but I respect the femslash)

Hellcat / Patsy Walker / Trish Walker

And speaking of Carol's unique tie to certain characters...

To this day, Carol and Patsy have barely interacted again in-(616)-universe*, so they don't have much of an interpersonal relationship, but the character of Trish Walker on the MCU show Jessica Jones was based heavily off of both of them, ending in a blended, third character mostly-bearing Patsy's name.

In the comics, Carol is Jessica Jones' best friend, but they weren't allowed to use her for the show. Regardless, Trish looks like Carol, she generally acts like Carol, she's currently a wealthy & successful journalist, but had a difficult life before. She can sometimes push too far past the line, but her motives are rooted in wanting to have control of her life and wanting to protect other people. (They also dress her in a red, blue, and gold suit as an easter egg at some point. )

Carol is also, pointedly, another woman who (similar to Jessica) has had experiences with both sexual assault and addiction. That's not true of Patsy in the comics (to my knowledge), but it is true of Trish.

Mike Barnett!!

Mike Barnett!! Here to remind us that he is unequivocally Carol's psychiatrist and that he wants to date her.

I was actually kind of excited to see him here, he always has some new development relating to the ongoing medical ethics violation.

AIM is back! They've kidnapped Mike Barnett to learn information about Carol Danvers, his patient. Hypnotized, Mike recounts her 7th-sense dream, and they mistake it for Carol's (assumed) worst fear: being killed by the Hulk. Delighted, they scheme to get Hulk to kill Carol, as revenge for bringing SHIELD to their door earlier.

Ultimately, AIM's finagling is discovered, and Mike is freed, coming to in a room full of superheroes.
