#hellbound 2

Before starting this, please research for a recap because Netflix gave a useless one, and I had to go ahead without remembering what happened.

All organisations got even stronger and crazier throughout the years but what is up with the people who got reborn from decree?

Season 1 review: Hellbound

From the comments I've seen, a lot of people enjoyed the first season more but I feel opposite of it.

This season doesn't give any explanation for the decrees and why people are getting reborn. So whoever wants to watch it for answers: you will not get it.

People didn't like how much it got into politics but I believe, it was their strength this season.

It was interesting to see how the government wanted to manipulate people to their side, and a good game they were playing.

Of course, Arrowheads are still there to trouble everyone but rather than being frustrated with their presence like the first season, it was interesting to see what they will come up with.

The only people I did not understand was Min Hye Jin's team. They are the only ones who don't work well together. Maybe they just need more brainwashing like the rest.

The characters are still quite bland, I did not care for any of them. I was curious about the baby who is now older but she was barely shown.

Last review I talked about being curious with Jung Jin Su but it just felt very underwhelming. We got what we wanted from him but I didn't feel satisfied with his story.

I remember feeling, so angry at the Arrowheads and people who believed The New Truth. I still cannot understand how people just believe random shit like that but surprisingly I felt nothing towards them.

Overall, this drama is still not perfect and will never be a 10 for me. However, the story felt more coherent this season and I felt less confused about what was happening.

There is some potential in this drama but as soon as they start doing something good, they end the drama or just drop the plot line.

Anyway, I went through some personal stuff (lots of post-grad school anxiety LOL) but now I’m back to regularly working on Hellbound 2 for the time being. Hopefully for the rest of time, at least, until the game is done.

I figured I’d update you guyz as to what I’ve been up to recently, since “it’s been a whileeeee” since I posted an update. When I last stopped working on Hellbound 2, I had JUST finished the second big dungeon in the game. Now, I’m working on the transition between ‘chapter 2′ of the game to ‘chapter 3.’ Mostly, right now, I’m working on putting a lot of sidequests / easter eggs in there, to make the game a full, big experience for you friends.

Soon, I’ll be working on the “fighting themselves” dungeons for Tammy, Marle, and Ratu. Similarly to the first game, the characters will have to go through their own personal growth moments fighting their inner demons. At this point in the game, Kym has already gone through that in the second dungeon, so it’s up to the other three to get up to speed.

When I have interesting new screen shots to show you guys, I sure will.
