HELLBOUND 2

thanks to CREDIT CARD DEBT...

Soooo my laptop is completely dead. Thats the bad news. However, I’m having someone work on getting the data off of it. I also had the foresight to back up HELLBOUND 2 to dropbox on like, August 7th. Unfortunately I’ll lose everything I’ve worked on in the last like, month or so if the guy can’t get the data off the old laptop. But even if he can’t, at least the game isn’t completely dead.

My laptop might be, uhhhhh, dead...

And all of HELLBOUND 2 is on there.

Hey FRIENDS what’s up. Like I said in my last update, I’ve been working a lot on HELLBOUND 2 the last week or so. Which is good, getting back into the swing of things. Today, I finished the “battle versus self” section for Tammy. I just have two more of those to make, for Ratu and Marle, and then it’s on with the end of the second act, and then the final act! Game is inching along, but that’s how making a game goes. It’s probably like 60% done right now, if I had to put a number on it.

Anyway, I went through some personal stuff (lots of post-grad school anxiety LOL) but now I’m back to regularly working on Hellbound 2 for the time being. Hopefully for the rest of time, at least, until the game is done.

I figured I’d update you guyz as to what I’ve been up to recently, since “it’s been a whileeeee” since I posted an update. When I last stopped working on Hellbound 2, I had JUST finished the second big dungeon in the game. Now, I’m working on the transition between ‘chapter 2′ of the game to ‘chapter 3.’ Mostly, right now, I’m working on putting a lot of sidequests / easter eggs in there, to make the game a full, big experience for you friends.

Soon, I’ll be working on the “fighting themselves” dungeons for Tammy, Marle, and Ratu. Similarly to the first game, the characters will have to go through their own personal growth moments fighting their inner demons. At this point in the game, Kym has already gone through that in the second dungeon, so it’s up to the other three to get up to speed.

When I have interesting new screen shots to show you guys, I sure will.

Last saturday (so a week ago) I started feeling super anxious, and I’ve slowly but surely been getting over it. I used to have really bad anxiety problems and it creeps back up every now and then. I haven’t been able to work much on HELLBOUND 2 because of this, for the last week, but I’m going to start working on it again this upcoming week or maybe tonight / tomorrow.
