#height sliders

I have Jonha’s torso one, but it doesn’t help on the legs. 

So my question is; do I know someone who might have a height slider that works for other than the torso? 

I'm no professional 3D modeller/animator, but I'm very aware of what is possible with today's technology.

This is all about the upcoming release of Sims 4.

What 1-3 didn't have, was a height slider. They had a great weight slider in Sims 3, and a height slider was my deciding factor on if I would buy 4 or not. Yet 4 STILL DOESN'T HAVE IT. We have the technology and they don't have it!???!?!

Now here's what the majority internet is agreeing on. They're saying that there would need to be individual animations for each preset height. say there are 10 heights. you'd need to make a HUG animation for 1 hugging 1, 1 hugging 2, 1 hugging 3, 5 hugging 8, etc etc. Every height, every interaction.

WHICH IS BULLSHIT AND LET ME TELL YOU WHY. With 3D models, they're made out of vertices, which are the points that connect everything together. With a 3D modeller, an animator and a programmer, you can say "hey, connect the hand vertex to the other person's hand vertex and you've got a high-five animation" (of course other movement involved). That's 1 animation and it can be applied to all heights. Of course, a really tall person and a really short person hugging can look weird, so you add in min and max height on the slider and only allow it to deform if someone cheats it in. It's that fucking simple! 1 hug animation applied to all heights, 1 kiss animation applied to all heights! It does take a more complex task and I'm not explaining the entire process towards it but IT'S SO WORTH.

Don't worry, I'm kind of pissed about it too. But you have to realize how complicated it is to do that. Especially if it's sliders and just not options for height. Think about it. They would have to re-do every single action in the entire game so things would look right. If you had a short person kissing a tall person, and they didn't change the way it looked, the short sim would just be pushing their mouth into the tall sim's chest.
