Well, that’s an interesting take, though I suppose not entirely out of the realm of possibility.

From what I can tell about HOF, they’re just honestly trying to put their side out there, and while it kind of lines up with SadOldMagician’s side of things, they also point out when Jared or Holly does something incredibly out of line.  I’d hope that HOF maintains that sense of impartiality, rather than being swayed purely to one side over the other. 

As for SOM, I don’t know.  I mean, this is the grown man who said “Maybe just accept I’ve always hated the punk” about Ross just a few days before reversing course with a “Hate someone all you want, but why does anyone else need to know about it?”.  I don’t even think HE knows what’s he’s doing besides trying to convince everyone that Jared and Holly are right, Heidi is wrong, and that anyone who disagrees is clearly just trying to push them into committing suicide or something.  

I can’t speak as to what heidiofans’ goal is - if it’s to be taken seriously or if it’s just to have a space where they can rant/defending Holly and Jared/post whatever-the-shit-they-want.  I don’t know, and I don’t want to presume what the purpose is.  

I’ve had SadOld come after me before (and you’ll never convince me that he didn’t have his hand in the cookie jar of anon hate that I received for the first and only time IMMEDIATELY after interacting with him), and I’ve seen RockyRidges/Bork try to excuse Holly liking posts that said Heidi had BPD by saying that she didn’t personally say it herself, so it was okay.    He also eventually told my friend that it was “fucking disgusting” to boil the situation between Holly and Heidi down to the fact that Holly was mad that Heidi didn’t let her fuck Jared with no rules or consequences, despite the fact that that is EXACTLY what the situation specifically between them boils down to (because if it was REALLY about her thinking she was saving Jared from an abusive relationships, she would’ve been more focused on getting him counseling and help rather than immediately getting into a romantic relationship with him which is like the #1 thing counselors tell you NOT to do immediately after leaving an abuse situation).  It’s not even that they’re presumptuous - It’s that they behave like rabid attack dogs on crystal meth, attacking anyone and anything that either contradicts them or is negative towards Holly or Jared. 

heidiofans is much like myself in that we’re a couple of nobodies, using tumblr to voice our opinions on the matter - nothing more, nothing less.  We’re not out to harass, not out to sway people to one side or the other; We’re literally just sharing the ‘evidence’ that any of the three primary people involved have put out there and giving our opinions on it.   (Please, heidiofans, correct me if I’m wrong on that)

The difference between blogs like ours and SadOldMagician is that we’re here to voice our personal opinions, while he’s here to very clearly defend his side, not listen to opinions that differ from his own, and remind everyone for the umpteenth time that he is personally involved with Jared and Holly (as shown by the fact he slapped the “ask the mod of /projared2 anything!” on his blog and constantly talks about how he’s one of Jared’s mods), which gives him ‘insider knowledge’ (for lack of better term) as to why they’re telling the truth, that Heidi is lying, the end.  I have no problem admitting when I’ve been utterly and completely wrong with saying certain things or interpreting a situation wrong - and heidiofans, from what I can tell, has no problem saying “Look, maybe I’m viewing this differently than you and that’s okay”; You tell SadOld that he might be mistaken and will get a vaguely guilt-trippy, passive-aggressive “This happened over a year ago - why do people even fucking care anymore??” in return, despite the fact that he personally attacked Heidi on twitter less than three months ago.

I had my 16 year old nephew log in to his tumblr account, so that I could test my theory with an adult-themed NSFW blog that I, a 30 year old woman, found.  (He was not in the room, before anyone wants to accuse me of exposing a minor to inappropriate content).  Guess how many steps it took?

That’s it.  Two steps - none of which asked about his age or the age of whomever was looking at the page.  This bullshit line of thought that “They had to jump through so may hoops!” is just that - bullshit.   

I’ve seen heidiofans’ post (which is hilarious because I had to log out of my account to view it, meaning that either my tumblr is glitching or they’ve blocked this blog; I’m going to give benefit of the doubt that it’s a glitch), and the whole thing is full of falacies.

This post that Jared sent to a fan/Heidi’s friend/whom-the-fuck-ever (immediately after sending them a nude) would beg to differ.

In 2014, I was 24 years old and HIGHLY active on tumblr (I’m talking 5-6 hours a day, it was a bit of an addiction, if you will).  Yes, ‘send nudes!’ was a running gag at the time, but when he got his first nude, he should have shut the shit down in a hurry and he didn’t.  He further encouraged it.

I never said that they WERE responsible for the actions of others.  It just goes back to the old saying “If you roll around with dogs, you’re going to catch fleas”, meaning that if you associate with sketchy people who do sketchy things, you’re going to be associated with that as well, regardless of if you actually do it or not.  It doesn’t make it right, but it is what it is.

First of all, it was not at all ‘unprompted’, as the Anon I was replying to brought it up in the message they sent me.  Second of all, I can say that because I can think they’re a decent person outside of this....discourse, for lack of better word, and still think they might do something shitty like that.   People aren’t 100% good or 100% bad - There are grey, not-so-great areas in between.
