Something about King being tiny compared to his Queen really really amuses me. He has clipped wings because he settled in his kingdom to stay. His extra wings (the butterfly looking ones) block his real eyes because they signify that he's looking beyond the present. He looks like he collects rocks

"nooo, take me baaaaaack..." and he sounds like he's about to cry

He actually would never deny it—he MELTS at any touch given to him by King or Queen. It's kind of the reason why they touch him so freely, they know he really likes it and feels better when it happens!

Cough. It's one of the ways King keeps control. If the King ever became displeased with him, it'd be too unsubtle to deny the General the touch he craves to feel grounded (too easy to be accused of being manipulative or like his love is held by strings), so instead he ensures that one of the General's next missions will be longer than usual. The General is alone whenever he's away from home, meaning that when he returns, he will be far more desperate for attention and touch than he was before; he will be more mellow, more agreeable, and more likely to view the King as kind and caring for hugging/cuddling him in moments like these. This is how the King keeps him loyal! It's just like keeping a dog!

They keep touch to a minimum in official events or public appearances, but inside the palace? Any average servant could catch a glimpse of the General cuddling or being cuddled by one or both of his partners, simply because he really wanted to be held.

It happens more often in private; in their bedroom or their bathroom (it's a REALLY big bathroom. Like, "the bathtub might as well be a pool" kind of big). It's the Queen washing the General's hair after a long week away from home; the King reading a book in bed with his General nuzzling his neck and his Queen's head laying on his chest. That kind of thing.

He IS however very clingy whenever they have to leave HAHEHE.

This is so fun HAHSHAHE. IT IS a huge miscommunication fest, but it's one ingrained into a knot of tragedies that can't be fixed so easily. Robbie's "canon event™" was the death of his friends, which spiraled down to Dipper and Mabel's canon event, the murder of their father. I like how it gives them a reason to have a true rivalry with each other even if it did start out as somewhat one sided ("YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM US" vs "I don't even know who you are 🙄").

It was a boon for the government if I'm being honest. Robbie just gave them the twins on a silver platter; both because he didn't listen to their dad and took them in before the other cars showed up, but also because he killed their dad in front of them, and thus making it exceptionally easy for them to hug those orphans, tell them they're oh so sorry for what happened, but they could seeeeee first haaannddd what kind of mooonnnsssstteeerrrss live in the Dome...

Hahahe.

If anything, Sherman's death also counted for more than drama and backstory: Robbie did feel guilty about his first kill. He didn't like how gruesome it felt (I mean, he did. He liked the feeling of sinking his teeth into flesh and ripping it. It was nice. He did NOT however enjoy hearing the screams while it happened; that was simply disturbing. He was not born with his parents' genes for resistance against this kind of thing), and this combined with his identity as "lord of the undead" and "the General" to form a man who's known for always aiming for the head, neck or heart. His army may not be as swift to kill others (though they'll consistently aim for those areas), but Robbie always aims for the fastest kill point. It makes him predictable, but it also lets him stay sane, so it feels like a balanced equation in his head.

He's also notorious for being seen in battlefields, looking for any wounded enemy survivors to kill. It's a bit half and half between "advantageous to not let this man heal up and fight me again" and "granting this wounded man a quick death, freedom from this war he surely wanted no part in". I like that.
