â right. â  the response is neither challenging nor dismissive; the blood on her hands was hardly a product of ( SNAPPING ) the way his actions suggested his was, but she didnât have the audacity to cast any judgments.  sheâs seen what happens during these trials,  seen the truth twisted INSIDE OUT just for the sake of crafting a STORY their audience could understand. ( sheâs good at it, seeing who they manage to sway. pays attention. is better in action than she is here where she canât be sure that what she can EMPATHIZE with is what others will deem FORGIVABLE. ) laurel castillo is quick to adapt, quicker than most, & if sheâs learned anything, itâs that in his house, theyâre only as unforgivable as they were once forgivable, and thatâs both a blessing and a curse. outside of it, however, no one was safe from the wolves. not even with annalise, their steadfast guardian who vowed to protect them. ( itâs with a surprising bitterness that she finds herself thinking that mr. wilderâs damning evidence might not be near as damning as the woman they depended on for salvation ! ) when she speaks again, she thinks it generous.Â
   âannalise wants you to sound  SYMPATHETIC  to the jury. that means anything is fair game.
    sheâll t e a r everything  DOWN  if gives her a chance of maybe winning them all over.
