Fantastic beasts and where to find them ✨

1. PEOPLE ACTUALLY GIVING A SHIT ABOUT GRAVES (and him being important to the overall plot of the series it doesn’t matter how)

2. Harlem that actually looks like Harlem with full on POC extras and racebent protags.

3. A movie that actually has a cohesive tone instead of having a split personality between a family friendly magical beasts movie and a thriller about newt being framed for the obscurus’ destruction

4. A romance that actually makes sense where Queenie falls in love with a person as she gets to know him instead of that ridiculous love at first sight/mind-read nonsense

5. Anyone but Johnny Depp as Grindelwald (and the reveal making more sense like Picquery realising that this fanatic Graves is wildly OOC instead of a stranger who’s never met him before)

I think it’s mainly the fact that the actress and actor who play them are annoying and can’t act because they weren’t that bad in the books and movie ☕️

i’m getting that vibe completely. might hold out for a couple more eps because the side characters are pretty cool so far (if a bit stereotypical but it’s YA fiction so i’ll forgive it)

I read the books and watched the movie and people say… the show is better than the movie. IT’S BULLSHIT.

i could probably deal with it if the main character wasn’t so horrible argh!!! she’s the worst. and the best friend is so annoying
