TW FOR BODY HORROR

When Martin first wakes up, he wakes up alone. "What the hell?" His voice was hoarse and his throat was raw as he spoke to nothing, just making sure he could still use his body. There are no signs of life anywhere, the trees and shrubs nearby are nothing but hollow dusks and gangly limbs that seem to reach towards nothing and everything all at once. There's dirt and sand in his mouth and he sputters and coughs, moving his head to lick at his shirt to try and dissuade the taste of earth and gravel. It helps, if only a little. His head pounds and a fresh wave of nausea washes over him, his vision blurring with pain and blood as he fights off the urge to throw up with a suddenness that makes everything feel worse. He takes the time to gather himself, adjust to his environment and situation before a thought occurs to him.

I don’t believe they’ve ever done this in canon but this sounds EXACTLY like something they’d do fhghsfgsjhgsj i feel like the mechs prefer more physical violence but hey maybe they were broadening their horizons!
