Normally I have to pick between going to Heavy List or Archery practice but tonight both of them cancelled so I guess I’ll just sit.

Tomorrow morning, a whole lot of people will show up to a building in the middle of the city. They will proceed to line up, and hit eachother in the head with sticks. It will be sweaty and gross, but completely awesome anyway.
And I’m going to miss it.
A few days ago I went to the ER and they found out that I had Pulmonary Emboli, blood clots in my chest. Now I’m on blood thinners, and can’t fight anymore.
Our Master of Arms just made me a kite shield that is held in the right hand, and now I have to wait in order to use it. Hopefully, the doctors will clear me for combat next week, when my dose of blood thinners goes down.
If not, well, I guess I’ll be working on my persona.
Not that I got an award or anything, but I placed third in my Baronial Heavy List Championship yesterday and that makes me happy. Now to nurse my wrist because somehow its all jacked up...
