In all honesty, Salem really wasn’t feeling up to visiting his friend today. It was quite a drive and it was only for lunch, but he couldn’t say no to her since it was the only time they managed to free up. So, when the phone call came that she wasn’t feeling well and they should reschedule, he turned the car around with a relieved smile on his face.
“Michael? Julie cancelled so-- Michael?” Salem had left with him in the living room and now it was empty. Hm. He went upstairs to put his stuff away when he walked in on the most beautiful sight he’s ever seen. Michael was on their bed with his wings stretched out. Salem had figured the wings were only visible to other angels and not like this.
The light had hit some of the soft looking feathers just right, giving it a blue hue whenever Salem moved. He couldn’t help it and he reached out to touch one of the tips. Bad choice. He stepped back against the closet upon seen the silver blade pointed towards him.
“Sorry! Sorry! I should have announced myself... I shouldn’t have-- ah. Julie cancelled so I came back. Michael, I didn’t know you were able to make your wings visible.”
