illuminated by dim candlelight ,  his figure is something foreboding ,  shrouded in black fabric with an arm twisted tightly across his torso .  the tone is light ,  a little more than usual ,  with a hint of strain .  he shifts ,  shuffles awkwardly ,  a terse laugh slipping from a dry throat .   (  he is ,  after all ,  too accustomed to mending his mistakes himself .  )   enlisting a stranger’s help would be somewhat of a first .  under the hood ,  pain - narrowed gaze looks past the healer and into the house .     ‘  i believe you’d be able to help me .  ’     trembling arm pulls aside ,  revealing starched white fabric stained with blood .
