PHANTASM CONCEPT

      It’s just Mahad going to bed and suddenly remembering something. He takes off his slipper, snaps his fingers and a message that says ‘give me back my arcane charts’ appears inside the slipper. He then magically sends it out to have Ebon smacked with it.

Ebon watches the slipper materialize before him enveloped in a familiar kiss of energy. He moves a step to the right before it lands a hit.

He snorts. Unamused dry sound.

“This will not take long.” He assures as he takes with him the arcane charts.

But this was not a scroll. (It was a datastick.)

The magician holds up a slim device He stares at it long and meaningful

     “Most would not be so foolish as to enter my home uninvited,” the ancient mage replies evenly, dark eyes watching the stranger from his armchair. His shoulders remained tense, while he silently hoped that Lyna would remain in her room until their uninvited visitor had left, “and given that this is my personal study, it’s hardly anywhere that’s easily accessible.”

     “Regardless, you cannot touch it - it will reject you if you try. Now why, exactly, do you feel that you may walk into my home without an invitation, monsieur?”

“Is that so.” He asks, but he doesn’t. The idle chatter that brings nor takes anything of importance. It is the posture of a man that speaks /do not compare me with the majority such things cannot be done/. What master magician would Ebon be otherwise if he didn’t know his way around spellcraft. Yet, this situation gives him a pause, his item of interest gone before he put hand on it. He considers, his gaze moves to study the rest of the room unbothered on the surface.
