That’s mostly a happy accident. Hel decided she was a lefty and then after thinking about it it only seemed to make sense that her left-dominance was due to that being the side with life. Everything works a little better when it’s alive. And I do believe that anatomically the heart tilts towards the left side of the body anyway.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that her heart is completely on the left. For the most part her organs are where they would be in any other person, it’s just complicated because she is literally half a corpse, pretty much right down the middle. I probably could figure it out, but that sounds like a headache and a half and way more complicated than I’d like to deal with. 

So, Spring is here! At least supposedly. (It snowed here like 4 inches today). And Spring is my favorite season. So I’m going to spread some love around to some of my favorite blogs!

This is one of my favorite Fenrirs.  We don’t really interact but I’ve followed them for a while and I love Fen’s relationships with others. He’s a really well round character and I love how he’s played. The mun is pretty cool too. She has snakes and always has fun preschool stories.

This is definitely one of my favorite Sleipnirs. He’s kind of laid back about a lot of things and just a really fun character to read. I don’t think I ever interacted with this Sleip, but they’re awesome and the mun seems super nice too.

If you’re looking for awesome Marvel OC blogs to follow, then look no further than this one. Shane is a really cool character and has many verses. Basically this character seems really rounded in all verses and is a badass, plain and simple. Love reading interactions with Shane (in all verses).

I love this Baldr so much. There’s been so much thought put into his characterization and he’s so dark and depressed all the time. Hel constantly wants to pat him on the head and tell him it’s okay. All of Baldr’s verses are fun and interesting to read and they have some awesome partners to write with.

Envy: Describe a time where your character wanted something so desperately that it drives them to distraction. Could be another person’s possession, lover, position, etc. Get creative asto what your character would desire most and how they would react tosee someone else enjoying it instead.

Envy is an emotion thatIðunn detests, and for good reason. When it overtakes her, itconsumed her completely. She will do everything in her power toeither gain that which shecovets, or destroy it if she finds she cannot have it herself. Thebest example of this is Freyja’s Brísingamen. When she first laideyes upon it, Iðunn was immediately consumed by jealousy. Thenecklace was far more beautiful than any piece of jewelry she ownedand she wanted it.Iðunn was, after all, born of the mountain and was already quitepredisposed to lusting after both gold and precious jewels. However,her jealousy of Freyja quickly warped into something much darker.Hatred. She hatedthe fact that it adorned Freyja’s neck and not her own. Up until thatmoment, Iðunn had always gotten first pick of all the jewelry thatcame from beneath the mountain. She was, after all, daughter to theEmperor. She had brought spring to Niðavellir— and was mostcherished of her people.

Thefact that Freyja had something more beautiful and precious than she,did not sit well with the spring goddess and eventually she grew tohate Freyja for it. She was the Æsir fount of immortality, and shedeserved to be the most beautiful of all the Ásynjur. At first, sherefused to receive Freyja— having her handmaidens turn the Vanirgoddess away at her door. Then,poison began to spill from Iðunn’s throat. Secrets, once told inconfidence, were let loose without a thought. This pleased Iðunngreatly, and she delighted in seeing Freyja’s pain— knowing fullwell that Freyja did not suspect the young goddess that all thoughtto be completely guileless.

We’re lying in bed. She’s lying.

"She lies about her innocence and her reason to linger in my bedchambers. She lies simply to save the flesh of her sister, the one who is truly innocent. When you lie in my bed and you place lies upon your tongue, the only way to make the lies right, is to tear it out of her. Oh, I tore her tongue from that gullet of a mouth and I struck her with it. Can you fathom the blood and the gurgling screams of the young woman? Can you?" 

Slowly, she turned towards her new 'guest' at the dinner table and smiled over the memories. "Now, the question is if I shall repeat the same tongue lashing if you are not a virgin. Tell me, are you innocent?"

--- He had waited quite patiently until the soft murmurs of passing Healers had lessened completely, indicating that most of them had distanced themselves from the halls. There was no shame in him for seeking out the Healer but a public display of weakness was...undesirable, at least to him.
