One thing that we've come to learn now that we've spent more time around people we actually like, is that we don't feel the same feelings towards them as they do us. We've come to the somewhat major realization that we're pretty damn aplatonic-spec but not afamilial like we thought we originally were (turns out our blood family is just really shitty lol).

So like, we see a lot of our coworkers who we care about as people who we want to take care of (so like our children or possibly younger siblings) or as people that we look up to (so like parental figures)

Like we frequently call many of our coworkers "child", even if they're older than us, because, we feel like we want to protect them and give them gifts and food and stuff

And it's been so strange to realize that fact

The fact that we very very rarely feel platonic attraction but, we feel so much familial attraction in its place.

And it's just, so crazy to finally realize why we always felt so different from our coworkers and friends. We see them as family rather than friends.
