Imagine headless!Flug having some kind of break down or something and his smoke kinda just starts changing all these different colors as a result of his emotions.
the moment i read “break down” the first thing that came to mind was some kind of murky/muddy brown and its icky and gross
then i realized thats kind of what color your water turns into after mixing all the colors of your watercolor rainbow palette haha
so HEADS UP (i love puns) i havent actually watched villainous (yet) but in the clip i saw Black Hat had a red skull on his desk. Headcanon that that's Flug's skull, possibly red to look decorative.

though, im pretty sure im not the first one, there are @elysian-hyena and @traumlaterne who both have headless!Flug headcanons/AUs; in their version Dr Flug is a Dullahan
the difference with my Headless!Flug HC is that my Dr Flug is simply headless– no ancient powers, no severed head being held captive by BH, he’s just headless…. who happen to emit colorful emotion-specific smoke lol
