Blood transfusions and brain examinations have never been so pop punk…
In Still Talk’s new video for ‘Headcheck,’ the clip alludes to the track’s medical metaphors as the Cologne-based band unleash sunny pop punk straight outta 2005 in the middle of a makeshift hospital, fiddling with fake brains of a deadbeat boyfriend.
There’s a lot of obvious allusions to Paramore’s earlier work, right down to the raspy vocals, proving just how influential they are to this current generation, more so than any other emo band (save for MCR, of course).
I can’t believe this band is from Germany… ⊙﹏⊙
