#headcanons ask

Oh yeah. I can see where you're coming from there. Not to name drop any headcanon, but I have seen cases where fans act like some headcanon is fact or make up some claim that Alex Hirsch has confirmed it but then never provide proof. It's one thing to headcanon, but if you gaslight people into thinking it's true, that kind of takes away from the headcanon as now it just feels like you're forcing people to believe it or else be left feeling they are wrong for thinking otherwise.

At the end of the day, for me, canon is whatever happened in Gravity Falls itself and the shorts, Journal 3 and Alex Hirsch's word. Lost Legends is canonish and The Book of Bill is only factual wherever Bill did not write in it as Bill's word is not verifiable due to the fact he lies more than the Ontario government does. Headcanons are all fun and for fans by fans.

probably starts out curled up on her side, and then eventually on her back (which is better for your spine anyway). she doesn't sprawl much, sticks to her side of the bed, but she moves a lot if she can't fall asleep quickly. like shifting positions a lot. spencer's definitely gotten irritated more than once and just like... physically held her still.

piper always wears her mother's jewellery -- a set of silver rings and her watch as a way of carrying her with them -- and a necklace with a silver chess piece on it. she almost always has some kind of weapon on her -- her service weapon, a knife -- and a black penlight. she used to carry her sobriety chip on her to keep her grounded, but she gave that to spencer to encourage his own sobriety and give him a physical thing to work towards. and she always has a journal on her persons at all times.

Honestly, Jane does admit to a bit of trouble relying on others simply because she knows too much about human nature. She has seen too many shades of the world to take people at their word and assume they are exactly as they present themselves. Once a person has proven themselves, Jane takes them at face-value a bit more…but even that only goes so far. In short, Jane very much likes people but she fully expects them to always act like….well….people in that they will always be, first and foremost, self-focused, a bit short-sighted, and mainly interested in what will get them the further ahead at the end of the day.

Jane is surprisingly good with children for not having any herself, but she is decidedly better with older kids then younger ones. Once they reach a point where they can hold a coherent conversation, Jane adores them because children see the world so different from adults. This fresh viewpoint often lets Jane see clues or information in a new light she never considered before. While she may never really believe the fantastical stories they might relate to her, she is always ready to seek out the kernel of truth at the heart of their tales and see where it goes.

So sorry. Ok, let’s go with Hvitty! I think a lot about modern chef! Hvitserk. Food or pastry chef. I could just imagine him making the most delicious things & def having a food + sex kink. Like, this man will feed you! When he sees the look on your face (and sounds you make) as you enjoy his food/pastries this man is ready to pounce. Feral!
