Depending of who you ask, 30-88 copies of these lathe picture discs were made. Also, they might have been made in 2015 or not. All roads lead to Greece’s Merciful Release, a replica label of the exact same name ran by  Andrew Eldritch which copies were made to look like the originals.

Any acquisition of this single is always a good one. First, it’s The Sisters Of Mercy, always considered one of the top-tier goth rock acts in existence. Second? You also get a painting of Francis Bacon’s Head VI (1949) for your cover, which is always a welcome treat. As most copies of “Body Electric” b/w “Adrenochrome” have a monochromatic version of it, this one’s in full color. There’s no country of origin of this bootleg, and some sources say 12 Tracks Records is responsible for at least four non-kosher Sisters Of Mercy vinyl pressings, all released in 1987.
