Thoughts: I've been making sandwiches literally nonstop for the past hour with one other person back here who's handling grill. You want this damn grill area cleaned, get more people scheduled to do so.
But of course I never say it.

I really dislike my head manager...
One of the managers needs to go on their lunch, so they ask me to take over table, making sandwiches and all that. It's in the middle of transition, so hey, it means they know I'll get this done right, I've done it before.
So I jump in, start making sandwiches, calling out stuff we need, and seeing things like 10 McGriddles on our screen, and making sure we'll have enough to actually make all of them.
Our head manager comes up, parks themselves at the table to "help" make other sandwiches, literally forcing me to move around them to make the big order we have...
Thankfully they left after a few minutes to head back up front... They hurt more then helped me, since I had to figure out where I was now on the board and having to go three times slower to make everything before that...
And they weren't wearing gloves while making food... despite being very adamant about us wearing gloves.
...And later I found out that they were sick.

Extra Tasks
Our idiotic head manager (I seriously have no respect for them), has decided to give everyone extra tasks, essentially a specific thing we're suppose to clean during our shifts.
Hahahahahaha, good luck with that. That's been tried before. Never worked out.
I could understand if it was like "If you have time, please try and get this clean" but our HM presented it as "you have to do this no matter what" and I just nodded and then ignored them.
Sure, if I have time, I will, I count it as doing regular cleaning duties we should be doing if we have time, but we get scheduled so thinly a lot, there's often no time to do much unless it's dead.
So it becomes lowest priority to me. The customer is (or at least should be) the highest priority for us, which means either making food, taking their order, or handing out their order takes precedence.
Then there's stocking, making sure we have enough stuff on hand for the customer, like ice for drinks, sauces for nuggets, stuff in our fridge, food to make sandwiches, etc.
And if you're in back drive, there's always dishes to be done as well.
...Always dishes...
Anyways, that's all fine and dandy, but a lot of shifts you just don't have time to do something extra without staying over your shift... and I don't always have time to stay late.
But other HMs who have come and gone have tried this before, and the only time it ever worked out was when we were gearing up for F.O.R., and the managers had us specifically work on that task and not have to do something else at the same time.
