     Like, I know I write all this angst & I’m angsty in general but !!! Kaey is such a good &      pure bean capable of love & kindness & compassion. He overcomes. That’s who he      is !!! My boi is such a brave, empowered person but he doesn’t expect people to like...      commend him for that. He doesn’t need people to tell him he’s a survivor, because he      knows it. He’s just a guy who has struggled, still struggles, but still loves too & knows      there is goodness in the world & hope for humanity & I just !!! get so emotional

     Kaey’s theme, as a character, is getting up even when you don’t want to. It’s surviving      & living even though it’s hard. It’s overcoming, becoming better, using your trauma &      pain & loss as motivation to find better horizons & better people. It’s accepting that you      may be broken, but you’re still worthwhile & deserve good things. It’s neither lingering      on your hurt nor trying to forget it, it’s growing with it. & if you’ve ever been hurt, ever      been broken or lost of traumatized you know that’s not easy, but it is possible.
