"You must be new to RTD finales" I mean, I know RTD has writing issues, but at the very least back in Seasons 1-4, he knew how to build up mysteries and you know, ACTUALLY WRAP THEM UP. Whose bad wolf? It's Rose after she looked into the TARDIS. What the heck is Torchwood? A group founded by Queen Victoria in response to the Doctor that appear in the finale of S2. Who is Saxon? The Master returned who slowly got control of shit via becoming the PM- also technically has the BEST ordinary person saves the day moment as Martha walks the entire Earth for a year just to set up the Master's defeat, more better then whatever the fuck you call Ruby and her mom's thing. Where are the missing planets going (and creatures like the bees)? The daleks are taking them all slowly until finally taking Earth last in the finale and they all returned to where they should be after the daleks are defeated. The only mystery really left by the end of RTD1 era is who the fuck the woman is that kept appearing in End of Time and looked sadly at the Doctor aiming a gun, but like, that's nothing in comparison too RTD2 era so far.
Whose Ms Flood? And sure, they saving that clearly for something else, but still she's set up in S14, so who the fuck is she? How the fuck is Ruby able to make it snow if she's just ordinary? You cannot use power of belief to excuse that fucker. What did Maestro mean by 'hidden song' and 'this creature is wrong'??? How is Ruby scaring even a god that much??? Why did the memory of the night change suddenly for the Doctor? Adding on, why was Ruby's memory that badly shadowed??? And why couldn't Sutekh just learn her moms name??? And don't give me the TARDIS cloaking BS RTD is trying as a explanation in commentary, if it's not said in the episode but in stuff like commentary, it's still not explained.
Like RTD CAN do finale's and that's what makes S14's finale so bad. We go from mysteries actually paying off and being explained and even having character development and growth and even conflict happening alongside sacrifices made by the characters...to the mystery is explained via BS and no conflict with the characters and nothing done to show the development the characters have gone through and no sacrifices are made to the point the only deaths you could argue happened is Sutekh and maybe Harriet, we don't know on her she just disappeared from the finale after TARDIS blasted her out. It's just a disappointing finale in an already mixed season.
