oo4. What’s one quality you look for when choosing romances?

There isn’t a quality she earns when regarding romance, mainly because she doesn’t search or expect romances. The mere thought of a relationship could have her frame set in an autopilot motion if not handled carefully, and before the other even realizes it, she’d be further away from his reach to even wonder what went wrong in the first place. However, if she has to admit something regarding the matter, Ara would state how she doesn’t find it a necessity to have a lover negating the flaws that tainted her skin and persona. And how she fell in love with a boy whose heart is lighter than her own, whose personality is gentler and kinder than her would ever be – almost to the point of naivety – someone with whom she shared an irrevocably true understanding.

oo10. What smells remind you of love?

Perhaps, that’s something Ara wouldn’t be able to define, there’s after all different kinds of love and different smell that reminds one of certain memories, people and occurrences that took place earlier in her life. And yet, hearing this peculiar inquire, in the depths of her mind there’s the memory of her ex-boyfriend’s cologne, which could be a response as well, though she’d never voice it out loud.

Interesting question to say the least, Ara would be frightened of turning the proposal into a public event, if he went down on one knee in front of a large crowd a very flushed little bird would be scolding him to get up already and questioning both his sanity and what the hell was going on in his mind. It is safe to say that if a man managed to trap this little bird into his own emotional cage for long enough to make both think about something as decisive as marriage, he could just slip the engagement ring on her finger while she’s asleep and question her properly when she realize the jewelry and inquire him about it. Personal, simple and regarding just the two of them.

In order to create a health and steady relationship? Probably no, she learned a long time ago to leave before being left, and the fact he already had a track record on the matter would probably encourage her to do it earlier, if he couldn’t commit himself to another, what would guarantee he would commit himself to her?

Never, she tries to be as polite as possible when declining someone’s offer even if an awkward atmosphere would be arise from the occasion, and she is not above being as blunt and stoic as it takes to make it clear to the other that she’s not interested. Patience was a virtue that in several cases, Ara doesn’t possess.

Ara finds happiness in small things, ordinary and mostly overlooked situations that means much more than long promises tossed into a dark sea of unfulfilled words that erode a relationship a lot faster than any other kind of catalyst. Soft words of gratitude and admiration, gently and innocent touches like holding hands or a polite remark are sure to guarantee a ghost of a smile to spread widely across her lips.

Overflowing feelings poured into words in the aftermath of an emotional tempest still make her relief to this very day, not many people that surround her daily know about the fact that she still writes lyrics for songs that are deemed to never be sang out loud, it is after all the only form of tension release that she believes to accomplish their finality. A person might have taken away her masterpieces, but never the will of composing more even if they will not see the light of the day.

Last, but not least, her friends make her happier than she could ever be. It is because of their sleepy dull jokes or puns that she still needs to find where the humor is at that she can sleep at easy after a stressful day, she wishes to protect each and every one of them; transforming their sad stories, flaws and loss into beautiful words just to make them understand how much they mean to her.

Ara is a paradox, while very passionate about her ideas of wrong and right and endless lectures about loyalty and freedom she isn’t as foolish as to make the world aware of her thoughts, the younger lioness she used to be was very idealistic, though years too late as a newly freed songbird that still craves for a stretch of her wings, she rather pronounce herself as neutral. Although, one might claim she is indeed cynical for not even following the advices she offers wholeheartedly to whoever inquire for them.

Red was an ephemeral color, but apparently, it adorned their family like a specie of tribute to new beginnings, it seemed that despite of their differences and offenses during the entire course of their lives, they were more similar than they ever deemed possible.

She placed the new towels at the soft sheets of his bed as she leaned forward to observed the plastic wrapped tattoo with a gentle and full smile dancing across her reddish lips, the first time her hazel orbs has ever glowed in admiration, understanding and respect as for her older brother.

“Mother! Father! Your son became a delinquent!” Words echoed in a feign of disappointment, though the warmth in her velvet tone denounced the acknowledge of his reasons quietly.

Her brother seemed completely astonished by her newly behavior, in seventeen years of his younger sister’s life, it was the first time she had ever been warm towards him and Hiroki was probably wonder if it wasn’t because he spent so many days in the hospital earlier that week.

“Shut up! Are you stupid?” The retaliation came in an icy cold tone seconds later.

A sigh of relief escape through her reddish lips as soon as she pushed her regular Saturday morning coffee shop’s door opened and the familiar warmth that emanated from the place sheltered her petite frame from the rough piercing winds that carried the heavy rain, as if cancelled classes and a delayed project wasn’t enough of a mood ruin for a Saturday morning, the rain outside didn’t displayed a slightly sign of any future ceasing.

For now, she was only content of shielding herself in a familiar place and as her high heeled boots clicked against the cold surface of the floor, Ara realized that the only thing that could possible make her morning joyful would be a cup of coffee and her usual table on the very corner right across the room from the ever so famous graffiti mural wall.

Storing her umbrella on the handler closer to her sit, the petite girl ran one of her delicate hands through the entire length of her chocolate colored strands as soon as she managed to rest against the comfortable seat and neatly places the books she had been guarding on top of the table, art&soul café sounded like the absolute perfect atmosphere to absorb herself in work without any further complications.

Not even five minutes after she had finally settled down her usual order accompanied of one of her favorite beverages were silently placed on the closest empty spot; espresso macchiato and a piece of white chocolate and raspberry pie. Hazel orbs diverted from the blue tainted ivory pages of her notebook to great her usual attendant with a grateful small smile dancing across her lips, though as soon as her glance met his darker hues, the brunette raised an eyebrow in a silent inquire.

“Rough morning?” Velvet voice held a faint sound of concern in an undertone as she tilted her head slightly, the darker circles that decorated his sharp features seemed almost as profound as her own were and she couldn’t help but wonder how long had passed since the last time he had a proper night of sleep.
