for @pcpulr || continued from here || heather & santana
as much as she loved her kids - unconditionally, irrevocably - heather had missed this. just being alone with santana, before their lives had become so entangled that it was mostly about catching a glimpse of each other before bed, or grabbing lunch in between sessions. but now here they were, no kids, no work, the house to themselves. just the sound of santana's giggles felt like a breath of fresh air and heather's eyes crinkled in joy as she tugged her close. "mhm, i've absolutely got no idea, ms. serrano. but i'm sure you've got a couple of great suggestions, as always." she grinned, resting her forehead against santana's and closing her eyes, just breathing her in before she opened them again, looking around the house. "but i haven't seen the house this empty in a long time. maybe we should take advantage of that."
