I’m still hoping 2017 is a better year than last year was. Not just because of all the deaths which was just awful especially when you lose someone you looked up to. I’m filming a new movie right now which is an adaptation of a novel so that’s exciting. Doctor Strange got great reviews and I loved doing it. I’m pretty content at the moment. I’m Rachel and I won’t be upset if you only know me as Regina George or Allie Hamilton.

I’ve probably mentioned more then the average person my dislike for flying, and with the amount of back and forth I’ve had to do recently i had to try rely on other methods then drinking the plane dry and going into the cockpit. Not that i’m gonna stop asking to see the pilots before flying (cause i’m not) but my last fight consisted of me listening into the air traffic channel since it keeps me relaxed knowing everything’s going smoothly. But occasionally the pilot who i talked to prior, kept whispering my name during the coordinates thinking i’d remain calm when all it did was freak me the fuck out. He did it the entire flight...just whispering my name like there wasn’t a ton more people on that plane suddenly wondering why “Sarah” kept being said into their ear.

I’ve heard a lot about cat cafes, and as lovely as cats are, I’m beginning to wonder why there can’t be a dog cafe? I’m not saying ditch the cat cafe idea entirely, just maybe expand the market. A lot of people are also dog people, and can you imagine having a puppy sitting on your lap, or playing with you while you’re sipping your latte? That would be adorable. We should bring a dog cafe to Hideaway. 

I’ve been asked on multiple occasions why I don’t have any social media accounts. The one I get asked the most about is Twitter. I just am so scared of myself at what I could end up saying on there and it then misrepresenting my real feelings. You could write or say anything and there is always someone who could take it the wrong way. Are any of you guys like this with your Twitter accounts? I know a lot of you are on it. Another reason I don’t have any social things, is because I would end up just keeping everyone updated about my son and posting a lot of photos of him. Nothing else.

Have you ever walked into a store and completely forgot what it was you originally went there for? I braved the cold to walk into a local drug store, and honestly, it was like walking into the warmth of the building blasted the objects out of my thoughts... Now, of course I continued to shop for things I clearly didn’t need, but you know, I still can’t remember what I had actually set out to buy today. I’m not sure if it’s old age, the winter chill or exhaustion, but I sure hope it wasn’t anything important. Side note: I was able to get a delicious breakfast and coffee to boot. NOTHING will ever beat a New York bagel.

I have a tendency to watch entirely too many crime dramas, as most of you know, but I swear Rizzoli & Isles and Castle are the two that stick out the most of me. Jane Rizzoli and Richard Castle are quite literally me. More so Castle than Jane, but that’s simple because he’s more childlike on a grander scale than Jane is... But you know, Jane is a bad ass. I can be bad ass. Don’t argue otherwise! Because it’s too late. I’m clearly looking up criminal justice courses to jumpstart my fallback career aka eating cookies with chocolate milk.

Have you ever double parked your car to run into a building real quick, only to have the thought of coming out to it being loaded up on a tow truck or being gone all together? Perhaps it’s just an irrational fear of mine, but I had to drop something off to a friend, and the entire way back through the building consisted of me praying it was still there and untouched when I came outside. Needless to say, everything was absolutely fine, but brains are funny little things, if you ask me. There’s always that internal struggle of whether I’m completely daft or not.

So, breaking news — apparently, it’s frowned upon to get drunk in the middle of an intercontinental flight. Who would’ve thought? Definitely not me, that’s for sure. I can’t help it that I’m a nervous flyer, still. But I may or may not have made some enemies on Flight 307 with my lovely impromptu concert. Personally, I think it went off without a hitch. Those passengers got themselves a real treat — even threw things at me in adoration.
