sweater:a favorite comforting thought

Where I went to graduate school is a medium-sized Southern university with a nation-wide reputation for being obsessed with football.  Stephen Fry came to visit on his tour of America and was properly appalled. It’s a very small town, and would get extremely congested with people and cars on game weekends.  Now that I’ve moved, it’s pleasant to think, even right now sitting here, that I don’t have to put up with that shit this fall!

Red wine. My favorite varies, but I’ve had some nice California red blends in recent years. I don’t think of reds as summer wines, but I definitely miss it.

Unmellow Yellow:Favorite TV show? Current one would be Orphan Black probably. And Downton, begrudgingly. 

Black:Favorite season? In the winter I always say summer because spring is generally rainy here and I get the worst allergies. But this summer has been terrible with the heat index (it’s like 110 degrees today) and all of the poison and bug bites and general allergies. So the other day I was like WHY THE FUCK DO I LIKE SUMMER IT’S TERRIBLE. If I had a pool or had access to a pool summer WOULD be my favorite. But this summer has not been my favorite so I wanna go with my middle name: Autumn. It’s cool and nice, and I can dress relatively comfortably and look cute while not worrying about sweating. And there’s pumpkins and cute stuff, and warm fragrances. Halloween. Yep. However, winter is by far the worst season in the world and i hate it so much that going into autumn generally makes me hesitant about enjoying it because I know winter is coming.

Unpopular opinion: I mean people love saying Harry married his mom and that makes me want to murder. Ginny doesn’t equal Lily, just cause they are both in a similar hair color doesn’t make them the same, lmao. Plus one is ginger and one is auburn sooooo.

A wish:I wish he didn’t name his kid after Snape, no I don’t think it shows “how big of a person” he is either. Like we already knew how good of a person Harry is, we don’t need that as confirmation, lmao. 

An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: I’m not sure, basically I hope JKR doesn’t pull some Go Set a Watchmen shit and write another book and make Harry a shit person lmao.

Alana

Why I like them

To be honest, I wasn’t into Alana in s1 at all, but I think she’s improved with each season. The more angsty and vengeful she is, the more I like her.

Why I don’t

This isn’t Alana’s fault, but I wish she had more of her own storyline instead of forever helping others.
