AUGUST 21 - 27, 2017 

I worked a lot last week and didn’t get much else done. But I am now caught up on Twin Peaks! 

My gold gel pen, a Uniball Gel Impact, ran out of steam and it’s now an orangey color. Of course that had to happen the week I incorporated gold into my theme. Anyone else had this problem or have another gold pen suggestion?

APRIL 3-9, 2017 

It’s spring and it’s beautiful in Southern California. Not too hot yet, which is good. Last week was my last week at my spring internship, so now I have so much more free time to work on my senior thesis. I’m both excited to write it and dreading it. 

Listening: “Sugar” by Maren Morris; “Now or Never” by Halsey 

1.23.17 - 1.29.17 // Last week I went for a more simple spread. Because of the current political climate in the US, my favorite ‘V for Vendetta’ quote (top right corner) seemed appropriate. The solar system washi tape gave the idea to do some Star Wars doodles and I think the Resistance symbol is also appropriate for how I feel about politics right now. So the theme of the week was FIGHT BACK 😉

I did the handwriting tag! I messed up a few times but no one’s perfect and I didn’t want to redo it 😜 I really love my handwriting but it’s way better when I’m not focusing on making it look cute! Oops.

I got to my internship early this morning so I took the time to start writing assignments and exams for the semester in my planner.
