sorry, don't know how to do a read more on mobile. buuuut. tonight's broad city live was possibly the most fun one I've seen. it was centered around the theme of "7 deadly sins." (and abbi & ilana did a lot of fun bits between all of the amazing guests, per usual, like make people eat cake on stage for "gluttony.") brandon scott jones & d'arcy carden did a sketch as british adult 1D fans and read erotic 1D fan fic. (that show could have been an hour long and I'd have been ok with it, tbh) then a little later. they brought out zach woods. for the bit on "sloth." and he didn't prepare anything. so for a solid 4 minutes he just stood on stage and looked around. and giggled. then he decided he'd show off his sin of pride. and brought his trumpet out on stage and I forgot what air was for a brief moment. (could've watched that for an hour, too.) then shannon o'neill came out as a wrath doctor and helped with revenge plots for people who had been wronged in a pretty rad wig/mustache combo. and to finish it all off, one of their writers, naomi ...don't know her last name and I'm on the bus so it's too hard to google, came out and a hilarious stand up set set around pride. favorite.
