I know gay marriage wasn't actually legal at the time, but it occurs to me that the absolute funniest thing the Worst Witch (1998) could have done would have been to go through 3 full series and then have it turn out right at the very end that Constance and Imogen had been married to each other the whole fucking time. Like, one of Mildred's year being cheeky and asking Imogen questions or something and then Imogen just casually dropping that Constance is, in actual fact, her wife. You can't tell me that wouldn't have been absolutely hilarious.

So I watched tww the 1998 and the 2017 versions and I decided to write about some of the differences

98:

shipping HB with the blonde, energetic, bubbly, kind and masc pe teacher

HB being feminine and most likely a top „Please be in charge again, if you want me to get down on my knees ms Hardbroom, I will do“

2017:

shipping HB with the blonde, energetic, bubbly, kind and femme headmistress of another school

HB being slightly more masculine and probably a bottom (fight me) since she basically almost fainted when Pippa kissed her cheek

One of the similarities I found is that HB deeply dislikes men 😂 and really caring for and being proud of Mildred 💞

That‘s it, those are the most important points (that’s ofc a joke, but you get the concept) 😂
